Cardiff Business Technology Centre 2 was opened following CBTC in early 1988 by the former South Glamorgan County Council, partly financed by the European Regional Development Fund.

The centre is wholly owned by Cardiff Council and operationally, is supported Cardiff Business Technology Centre, a self-sustaining company limited by guarantee.

The Centre provides access to a comprehensive business support package including;

Strategic business development assistance

Mentoring through business support agencies

Critical skills acquisition and development through the centre’s Business Development Credit worth £5,000.
