The design of Cardiff Business Technology Centre 2 (CBTC2) reflects the concept of knowledge transfer linking business and technology.
The accommodation consists of two separate buildings each of approximately 10,000 sq ft and is suitable for a wide breadth of applications. Units range between 950 sq ft and 1,250 sq ft and can be leased singly or in multiples.
From a single or a combined unit, CBTC 2 provides businesses with a high degree of environmental comfort and control.
Each unit is fitted with:
Vinyl flooring suitable for laboratory use
Stainless sink and base unit, hot/cold water
Suspended ceiling with low glare lighting
Individual heating
Dado trunking for electricity power points and telecommunications
Security grills to ground floor windows
Integrated telephone system
Fully fitted automated Fire Alarm system
Individual Intruder Alarm system
Virtual Office Services
The ‘Virtual Office’ service at CBTC 2 offers a prestigious business address, telephone, fax and post handling service plus access to the buildings meeting rooms and other facilities.
Virtual Office is available to new start or pre start technology businesses that meet the Centre’s general entry criteria, and also to companies that provide relevant business support services. Start-up companies could use the service as the first stage in becoming a possible tenant at a later date.
The Service is available on two different levels:
Level 1
Level 1 provides a Cardiff postcode business address. Services include post, parcel and fax handling, use of a fax, photocopier, document binder and other administrative equipment plus the hire of conference and meeting rooms at preferential rates.
Level 2
This provides Level 1 services plus the use of a communal telephone line and all associated phone answering / messaging service.
